ABOUT US
OUR STORY
In 2019 the Bishop of Llandaff the Rt Rev June Osborne invited the team to plant a City Centre Resource Church in the heart of Cardiff in partnership with the Diocese of Llandaff.
Out of the 3.1 million people who reside in Wales, only 1% currently attend Church. We are a church for the 99% of people who don’t currently go to church, a church where you can belong, no matter who you are, where you’re from or what you’ve done.
On the 25th of April 2021, we launched Citizen Church. A church where belonging matters, where we have a vision to play our part in the re-evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church and the transformation of society.
Citizen Church is part of the HTB network, and is a plant from Holy Trinity Brompton and Harbour Church Portsmouth. We are in the Diocese of Llandaff which is part of the Church in Wales and the wider Anglican Communion.
OUR TEAM
THE VISION
Our vision is to play our part in the EVANGELISATION OF THE NATION, the REVITALISATION OF THE CHURCH, and the TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIETY.
We are a church plant from Harbour Church Portsmouth and Holy Trinity Brompton and part of the HTB network.
